Bill Meyer began working in Ottawa’s real estate community for Canada Trust Realty in 1985, and became a Licensed Real Estate Broker in 1990 and Sales Manager for Canada Trust Realty who recognized him the following year as Real Estate Sales Manager of the Year.
Bill left the real estate side of things in 1993 to worked in Canada Trusts Financial Services as Regional Marketing Manger in 1996 he moved to their local Branches as a Bank Manager for 5 years. In 2001 left the Canada Trust organization to open a new Real Estate Concept (Keller Williams) with Principal Owner Jeff Hooper.
As a Leader in the Keller Williams Office Bill has been responsible for training many new and experienced real estate agents. He’s glad to finally settle back down to selling homes and helping buyers find their dream.
No stranger to working hard to achieve his goals Bill brings the discipline he learned when competing in the 1984 Olympics as a member of the Mens Water Polo Team to each and every real estate transaction.
Giving where you live are words that ring true to Bill, not only an Active member of the Glabar Park Community Bill also gives his time back to Coach, Carleton University Water Polo team for over 20 years and is an advisor to Water Polo Canada on Olympic Team program.
Bill sat on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Tulip Festival in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003
He is also:
• Co-chair of the annual Rideau Canal Flotilla
• Co-founder Canada Trust Staff Charity Fund
(Over $ 100,000 raised for local charities)
Accomplishments
Team Leader of the Fastest growing Real Estate office in Ottawa (Keller Williams Ottawa) in 2001-2003 Bill helped make this office the 4th largest in Ottawa, he was responsible for over 35 % of the agent growth.
